A Poem for “10 Thought Tuesday”
10 thoughts I will not share today
My thoughts remain my own
Who'd understand them anyway
My suffering unknown?
Unless a man walks many moons
Down such a path as mine
How could they even understand
Complexities defined
By trials and experience
That brought me to this place
Or how it is I can forgive
Repeatedly with grace?
I understand the way that Christ
Lovingly forgave me
And so I can extend the grace
To those who offend me
