Be Not Ashamed - Poem

Be Not Ashamed

Be not ashamed
Of who you are
Let your light shine
Both near and far

Revealing the truth,
Though hard at first,
Drives out the demons
You thought were the worst

Proclaim to the world
The uniqueness of you
You're a creature of God
Your life He'll renew

Bound Forever - UNITED FRIENDS CHALLENGE #57

Wrath's Challenge

"Tell me you love me."

Bound Forever

Together were our two hearts bound
It's irrefutable
And though you try to run from me
You can't resist the pull
I feel your spirit visit me
And fill me through and through
And though you will not tell the truth
I know you feel me, too
Whatever distance separates
Will never be enough
Although you tried to hide it
You did expose your bluff
And though our lovers come and go
Our hearts are bound throughout
Our spirits have become as one
Of that I have no doubt
I know that when my life is done
Together we will be
And then we both shall live as one
Throughout eternity
And while I let you wander free
And try not to pursue
From you, three words I long to hear
Are the words, "I love you."

Shades of gray
Images of darkness
Burst into Tehcnicolor
Rainbows of happiness
Colors of love
Crimson passion
Azure peace
Emerald comfort
Yellow hope
Indigo wisdom
Violet aura
Bringing beauty
To the world

Tribute to Michael Jackson, Humanitarian

Photobucket

A Tribute to Humanitarian Michael Jackson

Photobucket

I recorded this on SingSnap and allowed duets:

We Are the World

http://www.singsnap.com/snap/r/b7cd885d

If you set "Allow Duets" to yes, other people can join in on the recording.

I re-recorded it with me just singing one segment as in the original and let each other person fill in a segment as well as it was done in the original.  I think this would be a great way to pay tribute to the many fine humanitarian acts that Michael Jackson did in his life.

Here is a list of some of the charities:

Here are a few more:

This is a tribute to Michael Jackson and the wonderful humanitarian things he did in his lifetime. In spite of all the bad publicity, he was a good man who did much to help mankind.

I sang the first segment as it was done on the original airing:

I saved it with "Allow Duets" set to "Yes." If you will do a segment and save it the same way, someone else can sing the next segment (the segment after yours) until the whole song is completed. I would like to have as many people involved as possible.

It would be nice for some people to fill in the harmonies as well as done in the original.

When you've recorded your segment, please send me the link at:

(Cal-el)

Also, please include the message above in your comment so others who add their segment will have the info and be able to send it back to me.

Tips:

When you mix the song, be sure to check it and be sure the timing is right on your segment. Don't mix your voice louder than the other voices. Try to make it blend together. This is a cooperative effort, not a competition. It doesn't matter how well you sing. Just do your best and let's do something wonderful for the world.

Space Eagle Update

I'm on my mom's computer right now, so no picture or voice.  I got one Windows partition cleaned and I'm in the process of getting the other one cleaned.  Hopefully, I'll be able to access some of my important programs once I get it cleaned.

While working on these problems, I started thinking about crimes and punishment.  I got to thinking about white collar crimes and how they seem to receive special treatment from the law.  White collar criminals usually cause more pain and suffering for more people than the average killer.  Why shouldn't they be admitted to the same population as the others and receive the same types of punishment.  Restitution would be in order as well.

Instead of allowing the white collar criminals to sit in their modified Country Clubs they call prisons while they collect interest for their misdeeds, making them richer, their assets need to be frozen and they should have to pay restitution to all whom they affected.  That would make white collar crime much less attractive.

Race, color, country of origin, wealth, and social status should have no bearing on justice to criminals.
The rich have been taking care of the rich far too long.  That's probably how most of the rich gained their riches in the first place, stealing from the hard work of others.  We certainly know the corporations have unfairly compensated their employees at least since the 1800s and have wielded their power over their employees, even women and children, to fulfill their lustful gain for money and power.  They've even taken to reducing pay and benefits for their employees and refuse to take responsibility for their misdeeds by refusing to pay Workman's Compensation for employees injured on the job and increasing the cost of health care insurance to their retired employees to the point that most have had to drop it.  The refineries and chemical plants had the laws changed so that they didn't have to allow regulating bodies like OSHA to enter the gates until they had time to hide the evidence of their misdeeds, some of which cost lives and bodily injury, not to mention mental distress to those who lived through the incidents caused by their misdeeds.  Such actions by the corporations are criminal in themselves.  Why shouldn't these CEOs and other corporate heads be held responsible for their misconduct just as anyone else on the street would be?  Why shouldn't they receive the same kind of punishment as anyone else?  Bringing them to justice would decrease the incentive for people to continue such misdeeds.

Those who really know me know that I present my ideas and solutions to government officials and world leaders when I feel it appropriate.  I don't mince words.  Some respond well, some don't.  Some respond well after time when they see that I'm honest in my efforts.  More and more people are starting to do the same thing and are uniting to make the world truly a better and more peaceful place.  We're calling out hypocrisy, frauds, and phonies, and we're starting to make a difference.  Will we be successful in changing the world into a better place?  If enough people join in for the cause, work together, and quit trying to promote themselves shamelessly as if they created this concept on their own, perhaps.  A couple of famous people have tried to make their own events, promoting them as events similar to the ones we at Musicians and Fine Artists for World Peace are doing and trying to do, but they don't want to work with others and want all the glory for themselves.  They'll go unnamed as we try to reason with them, but if they continue with the same attitude, they will be called out and exposed.

Organizations which promote hate, fear, guilt, and dissension need to go down.  That includes churches who feel the need to "shame people into salvation."  They seem to think it's their job, not the Holy Spirit's job, to convict people.  They think that if they can shame people enough and scare people enough into confessing that Jesus Christ is savior, that's the only way to truly change someone's heart.  What does it really do?  It might scare some people into changing their actions, but it does nothing to truly change their hearts.  Yes, they do some good things and teach some good morals, but they destroy any real hope of people becoming Christ-like as long as the people remain scared enough to let these phony preachers make them think that they can't learn the truth on their own and try to bend the  conclusions and pull from the Spirit by those of the congregation who can see through the lies into something that fits what the preacher is promoting.

This is a time for change.  REAL change.  HONEST change.  We can't trust our leaders to do it for us.  We have to work together to make real change happen.  Don't just imagine.  Get involved.  Do something.  Your fellow man will thank you for it.

Love, Hope, Peace, & Christ Is With Us All,

Cal-el
